What has MC LowQui got to say ?
@ dnbszene
...your real name ? LowQui
...why "lowqui" ? Its a derivative of the norse god LoKi (im naughty but not evil) also at the age of fourteen when i got the name i had a bass heavy voice (like a low key on a keyboard)
... what's your age ? young at heart
... where & when did you answer this questions ? right now im in sheffield, I played @ Drum n Bass Arena with the mighty Fabio last night for the bb.co.uk/1xtra Xtra Bass tour. The night was rowdy, a bit like my hangover right now!
... what was the reason for you start MCing ? Love of the music and the energy I get back from the crowd! Also I found i was a better mc than Dj!
...your first vinyl ever purchased ? LOL - next more...
@ Grandtheftaudioa
...please can you give us an introduction to yourself?
Basically I'm an MC/vocalist, covering drum n bass (in all its amazing forms) Nu skool breaks and old skool. I've been hooked by electronic music since the age of ten and have been fortunate enough to have worked with a lot of my musical heroes over the years, artists such as Goldie, Andy C, Fabio, Storm, Bailey, Artificial Intelligence, Zinc, Nookie, Klute, Blame to name drop just a few. Currently I'm a Metalheadz resident and part of their 10th Anniversary tour. I also hold down residencies at Essence of Chi, Traffic, Desire, Technicality and various guest spots around the UK and europe. more...
@ LondonDnB
...How long have you been involved with DnB?
Raving started for me with house/hardcore way back in 1990 (the first rave I went to was Spiral tribe, Cisbury Ring). This was before hardcore jungle-techno, jungle or drum n bass emerged as the superior sound. more...

...What are your plans for 2004?
My main aim is to keep having fun doing what I’m doing, hyping raves and pushing drum n bass forward wherever possible! Personally I would like to visit as many new venues as possible as I get a real buzz out of seeing how different crowds around the world react to d'n'b. I'll also continue to write more lyrics and hopefully by the end of 2k4 I’ll get some vinyl out with my vocals on also. more...
